Shuttleworth Summer Air Show Meet Up Saturday 26 July
For the third consecutive year, we will be having an informal meet-up at the Shuttleworth Summer Air Show at Old Warden Aerodrome, Biggleswade, in Bedfordshire on Saturday, 26 July.
Details of the day’s events and timings can be seen on the Shuttleworth Air Show webpage.
If you can attend, please bring food, drink, and a chair, as well as a credit/debit Card, as Shuttleworth has now gone cashless.
It is weather permitting, of course, and if it does permit, and you arrive without seeing a familiar face, one of us who is suitably attired and recognisable will be lurking in the shop area between 12:00 – 12:15 to round up lost souls.
If you would like to let us know you are planning to attend, it would be helpful. Please do so via our secure online contact form, and we will then know to look out for you.
The following info may be of use, as Adele was there a week ago. On that occasion, the Red Arrows were there, first time at Shuttleworth, so the place was packed. Hopefully, it won’t be as packed for us this time. At 0900, the queue stretched to the road, and it is quite a long run in. Adele approached from the south through the villages, as she thought it was easier and therefore quicker. Two other reasons are that Junction 10 on the A1M is excellent for buying picnic items, and there are roadworks to the north of Biggleswade on the A1M, where they are putting in a link towards Cambridge.
