G BMXD Fokker F27 – 500. Southampton July 1989.
Joined the fleet in 1986, the 500 series used predominately on Channel Island services. 5 round trips a day JER/SOU/JER for six months would produce an extra 14,560 seats compared to a F27 200 series. Left Air UK in 1998 to BAC Express and broken up in Edinburgh. Photo Norman Cox.
