First flew 27 April 1962 and delivered to Jersey Airlines May 1962, whilst crew training near Jersey the starboard main undercarriage would not lower. What do you do when you buy something new and it does not work, well you take it back. The aircraft made a belly landing at Radlett with only slight damage. The problem caused by incorrect assembly of the main door jack. Returned to service and with the group until broken up in Jersey April 1984. Photo Richard Vandervord.

Leased to Sadia Brazil January 1968 as PP ASW, returned April 1968, underwing long range tanks used on the ferry flights. BIA from September 1979, re-registered in May 1982 as G BKBG. The round building you can see in the background is the only surviving building from the development of the airport in 1994.
