In service with Air Anglia early 1972. Pictured at Greenham Common during the International Air Tattoo, probably engaged in pleasure flying duties. This aircraft has had the “Transair Mod”, which comprised of fitting fibreglass undercarriage doors which were closed by bungee rubbers and fitted against the protruding main wheels and improved the single engine take-off performance. First flew as PH FEW July 1963, and delivered as 9M AML to Malayan Airways, and then re-registered 9V BAQ Malaysia-Singapore Airlines. Service then with Nusantara Air Services as PK KFG. Air Anglia from March 1978. Following a lease to British Midland between 1982 and 1985 it is shown on this hybrid colour scheme with just the Air UK logos. Leased to Busy Bee of Norway March 1986, returned June 1986, after further service with Air UK it was withdrawn from use May 1994, and broken up at Norwich December 1996. Photo M. Winter.
